Pregnant How To's

Before giving birth to my precious Ella, I had trouble conceiving. It took years and years for my husband and I to actually get pregnant, but we finally did and Ella is such a blessing to us. Going through those years of conceiving trouble was the worst years of my life. I remember doing tons of research and reading up on ways to increase your fertility such as changing your diet, drinking "fertile" green tea and keeping track of your ovulation through a calendar.

If you are going through infertility issues yourself, your not alone. Many women, including myself, have or are currently battling against the fight to conceiving. You must keep your head up and do some research on what you can do to change your fertility fate. One thing I found helpful was checking my basil temperature with a basil thermometer, which checks how warm your body temp is in order for you to see when you are and are not ovulating. Good luck and let me know if you have questions. I have been there.

Design with Little Girls In Mind

Dressing up your baby is more fun than dressing yourself. I recently just had a baby girl and I never knew how many cute designer outfits there are to choose from. Since she is the first girl, she has more outfits than anyone that lives in my home.
One of my ultimate favorites is this little sequin crocheted hat with big flower. Although it's too big for her to wear now she will grow into it. This would be adorable for Fall or Winter and adds a little "sass" to any outfit. My family knows the love of fashion I have so they showered me, and baby Ella, with tons of designer accessories and outfits.

Designer Gownies

Hospital gowns could not be any more ugly or unflattering I honestly can't believe they have always been the same style. Moms know that giving birth is one of the most painful, but rewarding, time in our lives.

To bear with the awful pain of birth we want to be as comfortable as possible, and those hospital gowns are definitely not doing us any favors. I found this useful hospital gown (gownie) on Amazon.com its cute, comfortable, has a closed back and easy accessibility to breast feed, without bearing everything. This is great gift idea to a pregnant friend, or possibly first time Mom to give comfort!

Designer Bibs for Baby

Babies soak through bibs many times throughout the day. We try to dress them in the cutest outfits possible but they end up being covered because of having to put a bib on them. I found these designer bibs that show off your stylish little one. These bibs are thick and I notice I don't have to trade them out as often as other bibs. They are made of soft material with a thick towel like back and bright colors. I really enjoy the patterns because they are trendy and fun rather than a boring typical baby bib.

Burberry Dress

Baby girls always look adorable, no matter what they are wearing. But I couldn't resist putting my little on in this Burberry Sleeveless Dress, it is to die for! Designer clothing is fabulous for adults but on little babies it is so precious. When young kids are dressed in well known fashion they look like mini adults, which is so sweet.

This Burberry dress is available at Nordstroms and also includes a diaper cover. It is a muted, over sized check pattern with a ruffled cap sleeve. The back of the dress has a button closure, the dress is lined, made of cotton, and machine washable. Pair this dress with some little booties or flats to dress up your little girl into a little lady.

Designer Baby Bag

This Designer Baby Bag is perfect for Moms on the go. Designed in mind for comfort, this mobile back pack is a new take on the unflattering, outdated "diaper bag". Just because your toting around diapers and formula doesn't mean it has to be transported in an ugly bag. Indulge and treat yourself to the luxury of designer, in a baby bag form.

This Petunia Pickle Bottom Amsterdam Boxy Backpack is available at Pottery Barn Kids. It is trendy, sleek and comfortable. It is water resistant, easy to clean, and has many pockets and compartments to fit everything you may need. There is a removable and adjustable shoulder strap to be used as a messenger bag or two straps for a backpack, hands free fit. The bag includes built in changing station with detachable, cushioned changing pad, detachable dirty diaper pouch and wipe case! There is even an option of monogramming your bag for an ultimate designer experience.
